In the US today, December 3rd, 2023, is the 19 of Jumada al-Awwal, 1445. However the API is returning the 20 Jumada al-Awwal, 1445:
REST url called=http://api.aladhan.com/v1/gToH/3-12-2023?adjustment=0
REST API response=

If I change the adjustment parameter to -1 then I get the correct date of 19 of Jumada al-Awwal. The issue here is that I had to update the adjustment parameter from 1 to 0 just a couple of months ago to get the correct date. I have had to change this parameter (either 0 or 1 or -1) every few months routinely and I am wondering why that is. Is this something that is expected and I must check at the start of each new month?
JAK for all that you do.
