AbdelrhmanUZaki It depends on the way MySQL stores unicode characters in the quran-simple-clean edition. The alif with a hamza is a different character, so it does not find it. You can always choose to not specify a surah or edition and it will search all editions, but obviously that might have a performance impact. You could try other editions, like quran-unicode, for instance.
