LaylaSupport This is a legal question, and not one we can answer generically on a public forum, as it may lead to assumptions by others. Your app is likely a paid / commercial app, and if it sold globally, you will also have other commitments under GDPR. As there is no formal contract or agreement between Islamic Network and you as the legal party, we are not obliged to answer these questions and will not because such answers may be construed as a legal agreement.
You should seek legal advice because the terms you agree to when using the API are on https://aladhan.com/credits-and-terms.
Having said that, there are 2 simpler ways to go about this:
- You setup a proxy and ensure all user related data is handled by you directly and is in your control; or
- You open a support ticket to discuss premium hosting where there are SLAs for almost everything - usually this would only be required if you have enough volume that warrants going above the rate limits.
1 is obviously simpler.
But rest assured, other than for security and monitoring, we don't really retain anything aside from operational use (which is short lived) and to forecast traffic patterns, but due to the reasons above, no numbers can be shared publicly.
