Permission to use Adhan MP3 recordings in Awbah Islamic App

Assalamu Alaikum,

I'm developing an Islamic mobile app called Awbah, and I'm currently working on the prayer-time and Adhan feature.

I found the Adhan recordings listed on your AlAdhan Download Adhans page and would really like to use some of them in Awbah.

However, I noticed that the actual MP3 files don't seem to be currently accessible. For example, when I click the download for Mansour Al-Zahrani, the CDN returns an AccessDenied error instead of the MP3:

So I wanted to ask you directly before trying anything else.

Would it be possible for us to use these Adhan recordings in Awbah?

Our intended use would be:

Include selected Adhan MP3s in the app
Allow users to download the Adhan for offline prayer notifications
Host approved MP3 files on our own storage/CDN if necessary
Play the Adhan locally when a prayer notification occurs
Properly credit the reciter and Islamic Network/AlAdhan according to your requirements

The app will be publicly distributed, and we may have a commercial version in the future, so I want to make sure we have the correct permission before using any recordings.

Could you please let me know:

Are these Adhan recordings still available for developers to use?
Is there a current way to obtain the original MP3 files?
Can we bundle them inside an Android/iOS app?
Can users download them for offline playback?
Can we host the approved files on our own CDN/storage?
Is commercial use permitted?
What attribution should we provide?
Does permission apply to all the listed recordings, or does it depend on the individual reciter?

I saw that there have been previous discussions about permission to bundle the Download Adhans in apps, which is why I wanted to ask here and make sure our use case is covered correctly.

We don't want to simply copy or mirror files without permission. We'd rather follow the proper process from the beginning.

inam Salaam Inam, these questions have already been answered elsewhere on the forum, and terms and conditions are quite clear. The terms and conditions at the bottom of https://aladhan.com/credits-and-terms apply to everything.

Can you please share the headers that come back when you run https://cdn.aladhan.com/audio/adhans/a11-mansour-al-zahrani.mp3 so we can see why you get the error - it may be a PoP specific problem.

Identical with a browser User-Agent. Same request id pattern each
time, fsn1-prod1-ceph3, so it looks like it is coming from origin
rather than an edge — likely object ACL rather than a PoP issue.

I have read the terms at aladhan.com/credits-and-terms. No further

From Lahore, Pakistan Falcon internet. TCP 443 connects fine to
that address — so it is reachable, it just answers 403. Only one
A record came back, so I do not appear to be on a separate PoP.

inam the CDN uses GeoDNS so you will only see one IP. Thank you, we will investigate and correct this and I will let you know once it is fixed inshaAllah.

Looks like the same object ACL issue, on a file the earlier fix may
not have covered.
