Al Salaamu 3laikum everyone,
We're excited to share something we've been working on for a while.
For years, the infrastructure behind Islamic Network — the APIs, the CDNs, the container orchestration spread across multiple regions — has quietly served billions of requests to the Muslim community worldwide. We've learned a lot building and running it.
Today, we're opening that up. Bahriya (bahriya.cloud) is a container-as-a-service cloud platform built on the same infrastructure that powers Islamic Network, and it's now in early access.
What it is
Bahriya lets you deploy containerised applications across multiple regions with autoscaling, managed registries, secrets, and a clean CLI (reis) — without locking you into a hyperscaler.
Why we built it
Most of the cloud platforms developers reach for by default are run by companies with deep commercial ties to the Israeli state and military. For many of us in this community, that's a persistent discomfort — paying every month, knowing where some of that money flows. We wanted an alternative that doesn't ask you to compromise on either technical quality or principle.
Bahriya is run from European and Asian (and soon to come Middle East) infrastructure, by a team that shares the values of this community. It is not a boycott statement — it's just a cloud platform that doesn't put you in that position to begin with.
What you get in early access
- $100 in free credit to try it out
- 25% off for early access participants, especially if you host Islamic content
- Direct access to the team — your feedback genuinely shapes the roadmap
- All the core primitives: containers, projects, registries, secrets, multi-region deploys, autoscaling, custom domains with automatic TLS
What we're asking
Early access means rough edges. We want developers willing to deploy something real — a side project, a small service, a staging environment — and tell us honestly what's missing or broken. The more we hear now, the better the platform gets before general availability.
If that sounds like you, tell us about what you are building / deploying by requesting access at bahriya.cloud. We'd love to see it.
You can always provide feedback at the Bahriya Hub (https://hub.bahriya.cloud/t/early-access) in the Early Access forum or by raising a Support Ticket.
Jazakum Allahu khairan.
