The AlAdhan APi at https://api.aladhan.com has just been upgraded to use PHP 8.4. Significant changes were required to upgrade the API - so please be on the lookout for anything unexpected.
This marks the last release using NGINX Unit as the application server, which was discontinued by NGINX / F5 in October 2025.
As such, we will shortly be releasing a version of the API on the the FrankenPHP application server, running both in the classic way PHP executes as well as using the worker mode.
If you see anything unexpected with the upgrade just published, please do report it as soon as possible.
