Class Time PC Software for Madrasahs (with api.aladhan.com)

In our time-based audio playback software for lessons and breaks — which can play sounds such as salawat and dhikr — we have recently started using api.aladhan.com. I use this API to ring a bell a certain number of minutes before the adhan and to display how many minutes are left until the adhan. Since I live in Turkey, I use the method “13”. In general, it works correctly, but sometimes there can be a difference of about one minute.

Could you possibly resolve this one-minute discrepancy? Also, I am a bit concerned about the continuity of this service — can we rely on it for many years to come? Please clarify.

Method 13 uses an older Diyanet calculation so there are differences in timings. Diyanet is not willing to share their new calculation method so there is no actual way to match their calculation, unless we scrape from their website.

Regarding the continuity of the service, it has been running for 12 years, and God willing, will continue to run.

There can, of course, be no guarantees, but the intention is certainly there. You can always get the code from 1x.ax and run the API yourself if you would like to.
