Schedule for Indonesian is different from the source

I used an Indonesian source (KEMENAG). For example, the Maghrib time is 17.49 from KEMENAG, but the API returns 17.46. I know I can tune it manually, but using it precisely from the source is better. Thank you.

penafarhan Would you like to share the location and the API call you are making? the City and Address endpoints convert the location into co-ordinates, which can be different to the co-ordinates Kemenag has for a city. So you'll need to know their co-ordinates and use the /timings endpoint if you'd like exact times.

Lat: -7.1834144, Lon: 111.9938926. I have checked the same city (Bojonegoro, East Java, ID) from the API and Kemenag website, it has different results. But I have a tune to make it match with the Kemenag.

Here is the tune: "2,2,2,3,3,2,0,2,0". Based on: Imsak,Fajr,Sunrise,Dhuhr,Asr,Maghrib,Sunset,Isha,Midnight.

But I only focused on the 5 prayers. The other might be wrong.

penafarhan Without the actual API queries on both sides, it's not possible to tell you why there is a difference. The calculation for Kemenag is rather standard and is based on the parameters at https://github.com/islamic-network/prayer-times/blob/master/src/PrayerTimes/Method.php#L352.

The co-ordinates you are providing are the ones you use when calling the AlAdhan API? if so, what are the co-ordinates Kemenag is using for Bojonegoro, East Java, ID? If you don't know these, you are comparing 2 different things.

meezaan Yes, but I also check the AlAdhan API with city based (Bojonegoro, East Java, ID), not only with the co-ordinates. But it gave the same results. It's different from the Kemenag, even if I use the same parameters (using city).

penafarhan As I already mentioned, the city name is not a parameter for the calculation. Actual co-ordinates are. The city and address endpoints are just provided for convenience. To see if the actual calculation matches you need to compare co-ordinates.
